Smartdesc Retains EcoVadis Accreditation

We’re proud to announce that Smartdesc has successfully retained its EcoVadis accreditation with a Bronze medal award, achieving an overall score of 63/100—placing us in the 69th percentile of all assessed companies.

This recognition underscores our ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

Key highlights from our 2025 EcoVadis assessment include:

• Environmental Excellence (84/100)

  • Exceptional environmental policies, ISO 14001 certification and measurable goals for energy use and greenhouse gas reductions.

  • Proactive measures such as employee training on waste reduction, refurbishing IT hardware, and verified carbon offset credits.

• Labor & Human Rights (61/100)

  • Strong policies on working conditions, diversity, and employee well-being.

  • Actions like flexible working arrangements, parental leave programmes and robust health and safety measures.

• Ethics (54/100)

  • Certified to ISO 27001 for information security, with clear anti-corruption measures and whistleblower procedures in place.

• Sustainable Procurement (40/100)

  • Progress underway to integrate more sustainable practices into our supply chain.
