We recognise that discretion and tact is paramount when reviewing an existing setup, and we will work with – not against – in house staff to produce a report that is both independent and practical; aligned to best practice whilst appreciating the real-world constraints in which IT service delivery exists.

The key outputs of a Smartdesc audit report are a set of bespoke, prioritised recommendations that are both realistic and achievable, as well as templates for service delivery, policies and a Risk Register.

These outputs can form the raw ingredients of a forward-looking IT Strategy, ensuring there are effective controls in place to protect an organisation’s corporate assets and ensure data integrity both in the short and longer terms.

This is a consultative process; we will spend time with members of your team from all levels within your organisation, to understand IT related frustrations or challenges.

Smartdesc is ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials accredited, as well as being fully GDPR compliant; we do not require additional 3^rd parties to audit specialist areas such as IT Security or compliance with legislation such as the Data Protection Act or GDPR – it will all be reviewed by our mixed team of experts, and owned by a single point of contact to present and report back our findings to your Senior Leadership Team.
