A data protection audit is an excellent way to understand your non-profit organisation’s current level of compliance with information legislation, such as the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communication Regulations 2003 (PECR).
This process involves our specialist consultants speaking to key stakeholders across the organisation from each department to look at how personal data is being processed and to identify any potential risks.
All risks and mitigations are then documented within an executive report containing a roadmap on how to increase the level of compliance at your organisation.
Data protection training for employees is essential so that they have a good understanding of the requirements of data protection legislation and what their responsibilities are.
Our hands-on experience within the not-for-profit sector has allowed us to create a bespoke data protection training programme that encourages engagement from participants through games and quizzes to help reinforce learning.
