Charity Technology Leaders Report Debrief 2026 with Charity IT Leaders

Smartdesc and Charity IT Leaders are hosting an event to discuss the findings from the fourth annual Charity Technology Leaders Report.

This event is designed to explore insights from our annual survey of nonprofit leaders who are involved in technology at their organisations, carried out from February to March 2026 and allow you to compare how your own organisation stacks up against the sector as a whole.

As with all our community events, it’s also a chance to network with your peers, take a step back from the day-to-day, share learning and advice with other organisations and enjoy some food and drink on us!

Tree Hall of Charity IT Learders, will lead the conversation, joined by Adam Monks, CEO and Co-founder of Smartdesc and James Field, Customer Strategy Director.

We will talk through the themes, patterns and trends from the report and hold an open forum with attendees to discuss how this correlates to your own priorities, risks, challenges and opportunities around IT in the nonprofit sector.

Who this is for:

• COOs, CIOs, CFOs, IT Directors, Operations Directors or equivalent Exec or C-Suite roles
• Nonprofit organisations that have some level of internal IT team, big or small.

What you will take away:

• A clear view of the key themes in the 2026 report
• Insight into trends across IT infrastructure, optimisation and AI
• Practical guidance on strategy and governance
• Updates on cyber security and data protection
• Perspectives on team structure, resourcing and partnering
• An understanding of how sector priorities have shifted since 2025.
