Asset Lifecycle Management

All your IT assets have a lifecycle that needs planning, budgeting, and maintaining on an ongoing basis. Smartdesc provides IT Asset Lifecycle as a managed service, to remove this overhead from your team.

We maintain an active real-time database of your assets, take care of upcoming warranty renewals 90 days before they are due, and develop a hardware refresh strategy with you that we use to gain maximum possible charity discounts form the major manufacturers..

This philosophy covers all devices from endpoints (laptops/tablets/desktops) to firewall hardware securing your networks, to servers and peripherals.

A managed asset lifecycle ensures staff do not suffer from out of date, slow and inefficient equipment that impacts their productivity.

It also ensures your IT estate does not end up with out of date, unsupported devices that are a security risk, or that would fail audits or certifications such as Cyber Essentials – which can be very expensive to rectify in an unplanned and unbudgeted rush.
